Kamay ni Hesus Church

October 16, 2008 Kamay ni Hesus Church...Lucban,Quezon

We visited the church last October 16 on Brgy Tinamnan after going to Malupak..
Naisip namin dumaan sa grotto kasi hindi pa kami nakakapunta duon.
And here are some pictures we took...

This the view after you enter the main gate.

On the left there's a walkway going to the church and then sa kanan i think it's a multipurpose hall.

And along the roadway there are statues or 'poon' of Saints with names and description on the base just like shown below.

Loob ng simbahan..

At the back of the church on the left is the stairway to the large statue of JC.

Sa kanan likod ng simbahan...Pinalayas ng Anghel si Eba at Adan pagkakain ng bawal na mansanas...

...actually under construction pa some area dito....its a park na may falls at kuwebang may nakabantay na aso i forgot to take shots of it.

...then on our way out i notice there some angels in this area..i think i saw the ark of the covenant...but it's not sayang cool sana kung meron..

And an area devoted to 'Virgin Mary'.
Under repair? or under construction? I see on some blogs dated earlier than mine that this place was already finished so i thought this would be under repair. This is located on the far right of the place upon entry on the main gate.

Finally, we're out and gutom na kasi tanghaling tapat kami pumunta. We didn't bother to go up to the top siguro next time na lang. Anyway its a nice place to visit for Catholics and non-Catholics alike(but not for kids may kasama kami mga bata natakot sa mga statuwa at first.)

Additional Info for those who browse this blog.
Going to Kamay ni Hesus Shrine there are two routes.
1. From Manila take South Expressway(SLEX) turn right on the last exit going to Calamba City by way of Sta Cruz, Laguna then go through Los Banos, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz and Pagsanjan. When in Pagsanjan, Laguna turn right on the corner of the Municipal Hall. Don't turn left. Left turning will get you to Siniloan. You know you're in Pagsanjan when you see an old town archway and the Church. Turning right and cruising the long zigzag road you'll pass the town of Cavinti and Luisiana on the way to Lucban, Quezon. When in Lucban just turn left on the Rizal Park and Municipal Hall going to the Kamay ni Hesus. You'll pass Southern Luzon State University(SLSU) on your left and after the bridge your there.

2. From Manila take South Expressway(SLEX) turn right on the exit going to Calamba City by way of Lucena City or Batangas. You'll pass the town/city of Sto. Tomas, Alaminos, San Pablo, Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya and Lucena City. Don't go to the town proper of Lucena City just continue along the highway(or the diversion road) and upon approaching a busy intersection turn left going to Tayabas, Quezon. In the town of Tayabas there's signs going to Lucban just follow these. You'll pass Nawawalang Paraiso resort, Palaisdaan restaurant finally Batis Aramin resort just continue along and you'll there.

If your considering less traffic and faster way to go there I suggest you take route number 1 but if your stomach can't take the zigzag road take route number 2. Anyways both routes will take you there. There are other routes by way of Rizal or Laguna.

See you there this Holy Week.
